Anna Marie Wilt, 91, Duncansville, passed away Sunday, August 6, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her family

She was born December 11, 1925, in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Melvin Sr. and Violet (Wertz) Wilt.

Surviving are three sisters: Violet Yingling and husband, Edward C., of Duncansville, Donna J. Barker of Pottstown, and Gloria J. Koelle of East Freedom; a brother, Ronald (Mike); 43 nieces and nephews; 67 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 88 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers: Homer, Melvin Jr., Edwin, William “Dick” and Joseph “Jack”; and two sisters: Mary Dolores “Dolly” and Regina Focer.

Anna Marie was a 1944 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from SKF Industries after 35 years of dedicated service. After retirement, she owned and operated DTS Driving School for 20 years.

She was a member St. Marys Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, as well as the quilting club at St. Patrick's, Newry. She was well-known for her loving care of children.

Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, at St. Marys Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Committal will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.
