Betty J. (Henry) Harr

Betty J. Harr, 88 of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

She was born, November 9, 1928 in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Albert and Ruth (Reed) Henry.

Betty married Orrie Warren Harr, May 16, 1947 in Hollidaysburg.  He preceded her in death April 24, 1986 after having shared 39 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Carol A. Ingram; a son, Dewey W. Harr Sr. and wife, Linda, all of Hollidaysburg; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren;  two brothers:  George Henry Sr. of Hollidaysburg and Richard of Duncansville.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda M. McChesney in 1995 and two grandsons:  Travis and Wesley.

At Betty's request there will be no viewing or funeral service.
