Carole A. Colabrese

Carole A. Colabrese, 48, Hollidaysburg, died Sunday, May 14, 2017, at UPMC Altoona, surrounded by her family.

She was born November 9, 1968, in Pittsburgh, daughter of Fred J. and Diana (Johnston) Colabrese.

Surviving are her parents of Hollidaysburg; two sisters: Donna M. Gagnon and husband, Rick, in Virginia and Jill Hileman and husband, Dan, of Hollidaysburg; two brothers: Ron and wife, Lisa, of Pittsburgh and Dan and wife, Michele, in Alabama; many nieces and nephews; and her special nurse, Sandy.

She was a graduate of Altoona Area High School and participated in Crossroads Adult Services. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Hollidaysburg.

Carole enjoyed tearing up the dance floor, loving her dogs, swimming, drinking Mountain Dew, Special Olympics and reading magazines.

Friends will be received from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at St. Mary’s Church, Hollidaysburg, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017, Father Anthony J. Legarski, celebrant. Committal will be at New St. Mary Cemetery.
