Cheryl Ann (Hughes) Plunket

Cheryl Ann Plunket, 63 of Altoona, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George I. Sr. and Joyce (Burley) Hughes.

Surviving are two sons:  Bennie R. and wife Michele, and Joseph A., all of Altoona; three grandchildren; three sisters:  Darlene Arthur, Sandra Williams, Mindy Billetdeaux; and three brothers:  Forrest "Skip", Edmond "Rusty", and Jeffery.  She was preceded in death by a brother George I. "Bud" Jr.

Cheryl was a graduate of Penn Cambria High School, class of 1973; and attended Altoona School of Commerce, 1979-1980.

She loved her family; the Pittsburgh Steelers; NASCAR, and camping along the Juniata River by Newton Hamilton.

At Cheryl's request there will be no public viewing.

A Private Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
