David B. "Guido" Emerick

David B. "Guido" Emerick, 55, Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday at his residence.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Charles and Betty (Scnarz) Emerick.

Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Jennifer S. (McCandless) Emerick; a son, Sander C. of Hollidaysburg; a sister, Susan Fink of Altoona; and two brothers: Dane and wife, Joan, of Lynchburg, Va., and Clark of Altoona.

Guido was a 1980 graduate of Altoona Area High School. He worked as an electrician for Hoss's Building Services.

He loved his family, and he enjoyed sports, cooking, music, being a drummer and animals.

Friends will be received 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., with a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. by David's brother, Reverend Dane Emerick.
