David R. Osborn

David R. Osborn, 80, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

He was born March 25, 1937 in Altoona, son of Theodore and Lillian (Lamca) Osborn.  David married Mary Lou Richards who preceded him in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Diane Fritter (Charles) of Ranson, WV; a son Randy (Patty) of Severn, MD; four grandchildren and three great-grandsons; two brothers: Don and Robert (Martha), all of Altoona.

Dave was  graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, class of 1955.

He retired from the maintenance department of the Rock Creek Apartments in Maryland.

Dave enjoyed playing cards; working puzzles, and hunting.

Friends will be received 1-3 pm, Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg, immediately followed by a 3 pm funeral service by Vicar Amanda N. McCaffery.  Interment will be in Carson Valley Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to the Blair County Unit of the American Cancer Society.
