David R. Clapper, 55, Altoona, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at UPMC Altoona.

He was born March 3, 1962, in Altoona, son of the late Russell Clapper and Joanne (Weyer). Surviving are two daughters: Fawn VanBrederode of Enola, and Ashley Clapper of Claysburg; a sister, Debbie Husick; and two brothers: Russell III and Randy.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
