Gary D. Ebersole

Gary D. Ebersole, 72 of Altoona, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at UPMC, Altoona.

He was born February 10, 1945 in Altoona, son of the late Donald and Ruth (Flory) Ebersole.

Surviving are his former wife, Karen L., of Altoona; a daughter, Tammy Stine and husband Calvin of Altoona; three sons:  Stephen and wife Rhonda of Heath Springs, SC; David and companion, Chelsea, and Brandon, all of Altoona; six grandchildren:  Tamara, Michelle, Rodney, Morgan and twins, Daxton and Ivy; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sharon Raihl of Alabama.

Gary was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald.

He had been employed by Federated Frye Metals as a machine operator.  Gary was a US Army veteran having served during the Vietnam Conflict.

Gary enjoyed his family and his beer.

There will be no public viewing.  Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
