Genevieve Ruth Pross

Genevieve Ruth Pross, 87, Altoona, died Tuesday evening, May 23, 2017, at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.

She was born December 8, 1929, in Carson Valley, daughter of the late Russell and Sadie (Wilt) Rhine. She was twice married, first to Robert Ward Miller and then to Charles E. Pross, both of whom preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons: Robert Edward "Ed" Miller and wife, Erma, of Altoona and Eric Charles Pross and wife, Kathy; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five sisters; and a brother, and was the last surviving member of her family.

She retired from GTE Sylvania, and was a former member of Grace Brethren Church, Juniata.

There will be no public viewing. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family by the Rev. Jaime G. Olson. Interment will be in Blair Memorial Park.
