Rest in peace John. Thank's for all the great memories of hunting seasons long passed. You and your dad will always be in my thoughts.

“Though nothing can bring back the hour

Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower,

We will grieve not, rather find

Strength in what remains behind,

In the primal sympathy

Which having been must ever be,

In the soothing thoughts that spring

Out of human suffering,

In the faith that looks through death,

In years that bring the philosophic mind.”

Sending my deepest, heartfelt condolences. I knew John from school and also while serving in the PA Guard. What I remember about John....he always put others before himself. Never forgot the times he took care of many soldiers who were tired and hungry. John would cook meals til the wee hours of the morning to feed the troops. Even when the mess hall was closed, he would somehow muster something up, leftovers or an mre. Never forget how he was....a great person, he will be missed...
