Joseph Ray Glass

Joseph Ray Glass, 51 of Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Florida.

He was born in Altoona, son of Ray J. and the late H. Jane (Shannon) Glass.

Surviving are his father; three step-daughters:  Christine Hoover; Sara and Allura Pfiester; a son Jerimi; and two step-sons: Wesley and Brian Pfiester; two sisters:  Jackie Couch and husband Ed, Sharon Hyder and husband Scott; a half-sister, Jackie Amick and a half-brother, Terry Pollard and a number of nieces and nephews including Deryk Glass.

He was preceded in death by a step-son, Joseph Pfiester and a nephew Darryn Couch.

Joe was a graduate of Altoona High School, class of 1984 and was employed as a long-distance truck driver for Feather Brothers Transport and R.J. Glass Trucking.

He loved his little grandson, Wyatt; and both Penn State and Steelers football.

Friends will be received 2-4 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg immediately followed by a 4pm funeral service, Pastor Cal Wiedemann, officiating.
