Liesl L. Chibirka

Liesl Louise Chibirka, 28 of Duncansville, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at her home due to complications from epilepsy.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Joseph and Lynn L. (Marks) Chibirka.

Surviving are her parents of Duncansville; grandparents: Donna and Walter Marks of Altoona; Marie Chibirka of West Abington; a brother, David; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Liesl was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Sr. High School, class of 2005.  She attended Mount Aloysius College.

She was employed as a dog nanny.

Liesl loved her special pets, Kalina and Penny.  She was a member of Save the Whales.

At the request of the family, there will be no public viewing.

A Memorial Gathering will be held 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation.Org.
