Lonnie R. Brogden

Lonnie R. Brogden, 60, Altoona, died Sunday morning, January 7, 2018, at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness.

He was born June 6, 1957, in Altoona, son of Richard and Betty (Boyles) Brogden.

Surviving are his mother; a daughter, Emilee M. Smithmyer and husband, Kenny, of Duncansville; three grandsons; and three sisters: Vonnie, Connie, and Bonita.

He was preceded in death by his father; his former wife, Kim; and a brother, John F. Sr.

He was a 1975 graduate of Altoona Area High School and was employed by Your Building Center, Altoona as a truck driver.

He enjoyed spending time with his daughter, the outdoors, four-wheeling and motorcycling.

At Lonnie’s request, there will be no viewing or funeral service.

Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Altoona.

Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
