September 20, 1966 ~ November 29, 2016 (age 50) 50 Years OldPastor Jerome A. “Jerry” Hayward Jr., 50, Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born September 20, 1966, in Zion, Ill., son of Jerome A. Hayward Sr. and Linda M. Bagley. On July 9, 1996, he married Kathy Bass, who passed away November 29, 2016.
Surviving are a daughter, Paula Hill of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Randy Hill of Bowling Green, Mo.; his mother, Linda M. Bagley; and three sisters: Judi Johnson (Scott), Laurie Widmar and Nancy Hayward, all of Kenosha, Wis.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome A. Hayward Sr.
Jerry was a 1984 graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School, Kenosha, Wis. He graduated from Trinity International University with a master’s degree in Theology. He was a minister of God and a member of St. John's Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg.
Significant Interests: he enjoyed helping the community; running races; and spending time with his loyal dog, Sadie
At the request of the family, the visitation and service were private. Arrangements were by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
