Pauline L. Gentry

Pauline L. Gentry, 83, Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday evening, June 13, 2017, at UPMC Altoona.

She was born September 28, 1933, in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late John and Gladys (Walters) Ellenburger. She married William C. Gentry, who preceded her in death on April 7, 2016, after having shared 65 years of marriage.

Surviving are two daughters, Debra Garman and husband, John, and Tammie Fleck, all of Hollidaysburg; two sons: Kim and wife, Cindy, and John and wife, Yvonne, all of Hollidaysburg; eight grandchildren: Heather, Nicole, Shannon, William, Amanda, Dana, Matthew and Jenna; 13 great-grandchildren: Gaige, Ava, Emma, Chase, Elle, Jay, Hannah, Savannah, Addison, Matthew, Quinn, Cody and Owen; and two sisters: Sally (Bud) Keefer of Duncansville, and Jo (Don) Johnson of Martinsburg.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Leah Wertz.

Pauline was a 1951 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a member of St. Johns Reformed Church, Hollidaysburg. She enjoyed cooking and being at camp at Raystown.

Memorial Services will be held 4:30 pm Thursday, June 22, 2017 at St. John's Reformed Church, 904 Maple and Montgomery St. Hollidaysburg, PA.  All guests are welcome to join the family.  Food and fellowship will immediately follow the service at John Gentry's home, 840 Locke Mountain Road, Hollidaysburg.
