Robert F. "Bob" Bennett

Robert F. "Bob" Bennett, 84, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at UPMC, Altoona.

He was born in Frankstown Twp., March 8, 1933, son of the late Daniel and Ethel (Ritchey) Bennett.

Bob married Betsy C. Noye, March 7, 1952 in Greenwood United Methodist Church.

Survivng are his wife with whom he shared 65 years of marriage; two daughters:  Mary Ann Ritchey (Dave) of Altoona; Terri Ayers of Duncansville; two sons:  Tim (Adriana) in California; Andy (Stacy) of Florida; six grandchildren:  Brittany Radomski (Tom) of Pittsburgh; Glenn Ritchey and fiance Nicole McClure; Grace, Jack, Kaitlyn and Gavin Bennett; a great-grandson, Derek Radomski; and a nephew, James "Jimmy".

Bob was preceded in death by three brothers:  Paul, John, and Eugene; and a niece, Helen K. Shank.

He was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, class of 1951.

Bob was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean Conflict.

He was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church.

Bob was self-employed as a Registered Master Plumber.

He enjoyed boating; snowmobiling; hunting and camping.

Friends will be received 11am to 2pm, Monday, March 27th at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg immediately followed by a 2pm funeral service by Rev. Kevin Locker.  Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.
