Rose Mary (Burket) Heidler

Rose Mary Heidler, 85, of Altoona, passed away, Thursday, January 5, 2017 at her home.

She was born in Newry, August 28, 1931, daughter of the late Henry and Florence (McGee) Burket.

Rose Mary married Russell O. Heidler, October 26, 1948 in Newry.  He passed away March 14, 1979 after having shared 31 years of marriage.

Surviving are three sons:  Steven S.; Joseph A. and Russell O. Jr.; and a sister, Anna Marie Claar.

Rose Mary retired from the Presbyterian Home, Hollidaysburg as a care giver/nurses aid.

She was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Newry and had been attending St. Catherine of Siena, Duncansville.

Rose Mary was a member of the Duncansville VFW.  She was a seamstress and enjoyed crocheting.

At Rose Mary's request there will be no visitation or funeral service.  Interment in New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
