Stephen Peter Carey

Stephen Peter Carey, 59, of Altoona, passed away December 27, 2016 at UPMC, Altoona.

He was born June 7, 1957 in Philadelphia, son of the late Fred and Isabelle (Gibbs) Carey.

Surviving are two daughters; three sons; numerous grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers.  He was preceded in death by a sister.

Stephen received his Master's Degree; and was a veteran of the USMC.  He had been employed as a painter at the Naval Base, Willow Grove, PA.

At Stephen's request, there will be no viewing or services.

Interment will be at Philadelphia National Cemetery.
