Theda M. Baker

Theda M. Baker, 93, Martinsburg, formerly of Hollidaysburg, went to be with the Lord on Thursday morning, February 22, 2018, at Homewood at Martinsburg.

She was born August 12, 1924, in Duncansville, daughter of the late Levi Harry and Edna (Hanley) Dodson. On December 9, 1942, she married William B. Baker at Market Street Methodist Church in Winchester, Va. William preceded her in death on February 20, 2015, after sharing 72 years of marriage.

Surviving is a brother, Carl Dodson, of Altoona.

She was preceded in death by two sisters: Patty Wise and Jean Lyons.

Theda was a 1942 graduate of Altoona High School.

Friends will be received from 10:00 until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
