Travis F. Yingling

Travis F. Yingling, 29, of East Freedom, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning at his home.

He was born September 3, 1987 in Altoona, son of Richard F.  and Donna J. (Fisher) Yingling.

Surviving are his parents with whom he resided; and a brother, Richard L. of Hollidaysburg; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Travis was a graduate of Central High School, class of 2006 and was employed by Leighty Carpeting, Inc., as an installer.

He formerly attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Newry.

Travis enjoyed hunting and was able to bag a black bear this past bear season; fishing, camping, bon fires, kayaking, motor cycles, ATVs, target shooting, going to camp, and hanging out with his family and friends.  He especially enjoyed reading books about WWI and WWII.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Monday, April 17th at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg.

A funeral service will be held 10 am Tuesday at the funeral home by Father Allen P. Zeth.  Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
