Winifred P. "Winnie" (Walters) Fleck

Winifred P. "Winnie" Fleck, 88, of Duncansville, went home to be with the Lord, early Wednesday morning at Hillview Health Care and Rehab Center.

She was born January 24, 1928 in Altoona, daughter of the late Lloyd E. and Edith Caroline (Sorge) Walters.

Winnie was twice married, first to Henry R. Gill then to Lincoln Fleck, both of whom preceded her in death.

Surviving are four daughters:  Virginia Price; Carol Ann Ruggles; Ruth Anna Blair and husband, Wayne; Linda Mae White and husband Steve; ten grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-greatgranddaughters; and two brothers: Paul and Denny.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edith; a son, Edward H. Gill; a granddaughter, Krista Ruggles; three sisters:  Nora Kingsbury, Isabel Walters and Linda Conley; and two brothers:  Richard and Tom.

Winnie worked for Sylvania GTE in the mounting department having retired with 44 years of service.

She attended Grace Fellowship Church, Leamersville Campus.

Winnie enjoyed her family, gardening and crafts.

Friends will be received from Noon until the 1:00 pm funeral service, Monday, January 2, 2017 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg. Pastor Mark E. Lingenfelter officiating.  Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
