Amelia A. "Toots" Harker

Amelia A. "Toots" Harker, 83 of Hollidaysburg, passed away Monday evening at The Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg.

She was born in Newry, daughter of the late Carl F. and Annie G. (Horvath) Harker.

Surviving are two brothers:  Gary and Ronald; and three sisters:  Suzanne Flaugh, Pauline Wineland and Margaret McCarthy.

"Toots" was preceded in death by two brothers:  Roger E. and Francis W. and a sister, Barbara E. Flaugh.

She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, class of 1952 and had been employed as a secretary for the late Attorney Harry Benton for a short time following graduation until her health failed her.

"Toots" attended Dry Run Independent Baptist Church and enjoyed working crossword puzzles.

Friends will be received 3 -5 pm Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg, immediately followed by a funeral service by Pastor John D. Leatherman.

Interment at Dry Run Cemetery.
