Barry Bidelspach Obituary
Barry S. Bidelspach, 82, Hollidaysburg, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.
He was born in Sunbury, son of the late Urias S. and Mary C. (Dyer) Bidelspach. In 1962, he married Barbara Fagan in Altoona.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years; a daughter, Janell Ferrell and husband, Daniel, of Hollidaysburg; a son, Dr. John S. Bidelspach in Florida; and four grandchildren: Jonathon, Danielle, Ashley and Allan John.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry.
Barry was a 1955 graduate of Sunbury High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the Pennsylvania State Police, Hollidaysburg Troop G, after 28 years of service.
He was a life member of the Heidelberg Country Club and the Bavarian Aid Society. He was also a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Barry was an avid golfer, a dog lover and photographer.
At Barry's request, all services will be private.
Committal will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
