Brenda L. (Smeltzer) Marks, 63, West Loop, Hollidaysburg, died Monday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William J. Sr. and Belva L. (Merritts) Smeltzer. She married Edward G. Marks Jr. in 1978 at the West Loop Missionary Church.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years; a daughter, Lori L. Rimbeck and husband, David, of Duncansville; a son, Edward G. Marks III and wife, Jody, of Altoona; four grandchildren: Trey, Mason, Ty and Owen; two siblings: Ruth Walls and William Smeltzer II, both of Hollidaysburg; and six nieces: Amy, Emily, Summer, Eve, Ellen and Erin.
Brenda was a 1973 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School. She retired from the Dietary Department at Homewood at Martinsburg.
She was a member of Loop Sportsmans Club, where she formerly served as president. She also was a hunter's education instructor for various sportsmen's clubs.
Brenda loved deer hunting, planting flowers and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 2, 2019, at West Loop Church, Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will follow at noon. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
