Carl Snyder Obituary
Carl J. Snyder, 48, Altoona, passed away at his residence.
He was born in Washington, D.C., son of Nancy Levine and the late Augustine J. Snyder.
Surviving are his mother of Hollidaysburg; an aunt, Barbara Mauer and husband, Lawrence; an uncle, James Fitch and wife, Danielle; and numerous cousins.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Western Maryland College. He enjoyed writing and was a published author.
Friends will be received from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 17, 2020, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, Fr. Alan E. Thomas celebrant.
Interment will be at New St. Mary Cemetery.
