Carl C. Yingling
August 30, 1950 ~ November 18, 2017 (age 67) 67 Years OldCarl C. Yingling, 67, Duncansville, went to be home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, November 18, 2017, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He was born August 30, 1950, in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Ray A. Sr. and Peggy L. (DeWitt) Yingling. He married Deborah “Debbie” Smith in Hollidaysburg on June 17, 1972.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters: Kristi Yingling, M.A., M.S.L.S., and husband, Tom Daniels, of Norristown and Julie Yingling, Ph.D., of Brookings, S.D.; a sister, Kathryn “Kitty” L. Jackson and husband, Jerry, of Hollidaysburg; a brother, Ray A. Yingling Jr., and wife, Mauy, of Altoona; his mother-in-law, Sylvia Smith, of Duncansville; a sister-in-law, Bonnie Phillips, of Duncansville; an aunt and uncle, Bette and Gerald Smith of Duncansville; an aunt, Joan Yingling, of Hollidaysburg; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dianne; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Darlene and John Clifford; and brother-in-law Bill Phillips.
Carl graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1968. He received a B.S. in accounting from Susquehanna University in 1972 and a master’s degree in finance from University of Alaska Anchorage in 1979. He was a C.P.A. who retired from ARCo Alaska Transportation as financial controller.
Carl attended Puzzletown Road Bible Church, Newry. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service.
