Cheryl D. Powell, 57, Altoona, died Friday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Spartanburg, S.C., daughter of Landrum Powell and the late Mary Heverly

Surviving are her fiance, Dale Hollen; a son, Joshua R. Powell of Altoona; five grandchildren; her father; her stepfather, Donald Heverly of Hollidaysburg; two sisters: Donna of Altoona and Sue (Dwayne) of Williamsburg; three brothers: Ray of Lakemont, Lewis and Ricky, both in Virginia,

She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony.

At Cheryl's request, there will be no public services. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
