Damon W. McPherson

Damon W. McPherson, 51, Altoona, died Thursday, July 6, 2017.

He was born July 26, 1965, in Philadelphia, son of Barbara Jean Wilson. He was raised by his adoptive aunt. Surviving are his fiancee, Tara Lessa; eight children: Mya, Renee, Vanessa, Tianna, Damien, Damian, Carlos and Frankie; 15 grandchildren; and a brother, Adonis Wilson.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, the Reverend Jaime G. Olson officiating.
