Donald L. "Butch" Houseman

Donald L. "Butch" Houseman, 77, Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Kenneth H. and Wilma L. (Swaney) Houseman. He married Susan M. Isenberg in 1973.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years; two sons: Kenneth L. of Lakemont and Scott R. of Hollidaysburg; and a granddaughter, Sidney. 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris A. Roddy.

Don was a 1959 Hollidaysburg High School graduate. He retired as proprietor of Don's Three Star Service, Lakemont. 

He was a life member of Lakemont United Methodist Church, the Lakemont Volunteer Fire Company, Walter P. Chrysler Club, Train Collectors Association and Rails to Trails.

Don enjoyed model trains, classic cars and spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughter, Sidney.

Friends will be received from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be at Hickory Bottom Cemetery.
