Gary Andrew Frederick Jr.

Gary Andrew Fredrick (Habinyak), Jr. of Altoona, PA, passed away on May 29, 2017 at his home just 41 precious days after coming into our lives.

He was born April 19, 2017, in Altoona, son of Gary Andrew Frederick Sr. and Britnee Habinyak.

Born 6 weeks early and weighing only 5lbs 10oz, Gary Jr. was still able to grip his mother’s finger and respond to his father's touch during his brief stay on earth. He had a few wisps of dark hair and exceeded everyone’s expectations when he came home to meet family in just a few short days.   During that fleeting time, he touched many lives and was loved by all who met him.  Heaven will hold him and keep him safe until we come home to him.

Surviving are his parents; two sisters, Kionna and KayDe; his grandparents, Jackie Frederick, Gary and Cara Hartman, Bryan and Christine Binduga; and his great-grandparents, Frances Binduga and Shirley Woodley; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Gary Jr. joins his grandmother, Linda Paul in heaven.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon, Thursday, June 1, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at noon, Thursday, Pastor Jim Balzano officiating.  Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Altoona.

Memorials may be given to the family.
