Gauge Allen Eckenrode

Gauge Allen Eckenrode, 6, Lakemont, died Thursday evening, May 24, 2018, at his home.

He was born March 19, 2012, in Roaring Spring, son of Christopher and Katie (Howard) Eckenrode.

Surviving are his parents; his grandparents: Timothy Allen and Jeanette Howard; his grandmother, Justine Eckenrode; and a sister, Gypsy Violet Eckenrode.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Rhuenn Von Eckenrode.

Gauge was a kindergarten student at Baker Elementary. He enjoyed trains and monster trucks, and he was devoted to his sister.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will be held afterward at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, the Reverend Jaime G. Olson officiating.

Memorial donations may be given to Autism Awareness.
