Gene M. Pruonto

Gene M. Pruonto, 79, Duncansville, passed away Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017, at his residence after a courageous battle with Parkinson's disease.

He was born August 22, 1937, in Altoona, son of the late Carlo and Isabella (Catena) Pruonto.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Joyce E. (Thomas) Pruonto; two daughters: Autumn Pruonto McKinney and husband, Ronald, of Hollidaysburg, and JoAnne L. Burke and husband, Randy, of Henderson, Nev.; and three granddaughters.

Gene was a self-employed businessman.

At his request, there will be no public viewing or funeral service. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
