Genevieve Kathleen (Decker) McIntyre

Genevieve Kathleen "Genny" McIntyre, 77, Altoona, passed away Sunday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Elmer and Idella (Faust) Decker. She married Thomas R. McIntyre on Aug. 25, 1989, in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters: April, Suzy and Michele; a son, Gene; two stepsons: Brian and James; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Sherry.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine.

Genny graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1959. She was the manager of Willowbrook Mobile Home Parks Association, Duncansville.

She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Duncansville. Genny enjoyed crafts, flowers and baking.

Friends will be received from 2:00 until the 4:00 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, Pastor Doug Pilot officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
