Heather Ann Panek

Heather Ann Panek, 35, Tyrone, died Tuesday morning, September 5, 2017, at her residence.

She was born December 17, 1981, in Altoona, daughter of John W. and Mary J. (Salyards) Panek.

Surviving are her fiance, Mike Tilson; two children: Alyssa Harkins and Elias Tilson, both of Tyrone; her father; a sister, Dana M. Tilson and husband, David, of Altoona; and a brother, Gregory A. of Ashburn, Va.

She was preceded in death by her mother on April 6, 2017.

Heather was a 2000 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. She was formerly a licensed practical nurse for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona.

She loved her children and being a nurse.

Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held immediately after at 1:00 p.m., Vicar Kathleen Stump officiating.
