Jean Lear Obituary

Jean Lear, 93, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday afternoon.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Arthur and Olive (Lee) Heverly. She married Sheldon D. Lear who preceded her in death in 1997 after having shared 57 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Sonja Hull; three granddaughters: Debra Kelly (David), Susan Berger (Dean), Brenda McAleese (Bruce); ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Karen Gill.

A Service of Remembrance and Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

Flowers will be placed at her place of worship, Lakemont First Church of God. Family requests Memorial contributions be sent to the church at 404 Baynton Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602
