Jerry Lynn Nale

Jerry Lynn Nale, 64, Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday evening, November 18, 2017, at his home.

He was born January 5, 1953,  in Altoona, son of the late Jonathan and Lois (Oyler) Nale. He married Marie E. Burket in 1986 in Hollidaysburg.

Surviving are his wife, with whom he shared 31 years of marriage; two daughters: Vicki T. Woods and husband, Josh, and Rachel L. Nale; three sons: David Myers and wife, Kim, Christopher Myers and wife, Trisha, and Justin Nale and wife, Shannon; 12 grandchildren; three brothers: John and wife, Anna, Bill and Terry, twin brother to Jerry, and his wife, Thina; and two sisters: Cheryl Nale and Lisa Hoover.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Jenny Helsel.

Jerry was a 1972 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was self-employed for more than 30 years as an inspection mechanic and proprietor of Jerry's Garage, Frankstown.

Jerry was a lifelong member of Geeseytown Volunteer Fire Company. He enjoyed NASCAR, football and fishing.

Friends will be received from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2017, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, immediately followed by a 5:00 p.m. funeral service by Pastors Loren Woods and Gary Zimmerman

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Love in Action Ministries, 210 E. Plank Road, Altoona, PA 16602.
