Judith A. (Irvin) Eger

Judith A. (Irvin) Eger, 77, Duncansville, died Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.

She was born January 1, 1940, in Juniata, daughter of the late Dale and Caroline (Franks) Irvin. She married Frederick M. Eger in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1998 after 41 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Kara L. Brenneman and husband, David, of Duncansville; three sons: Raymond of Bellefonte, Dale and wife, Christine, and Fred, all of Duncansville; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Shirley Stump of State College and Mary Lou Garman of Tyrone; and a brother, Gerald in Tyrone.

She was preceded in death by two daughters: Kathy Lee Payne and Kandy L. Grove, both in 1998; and a grandson, Jedidiah Eckardt in 2016.

She was a graduate of Altoona High School, and was employed by Hickory Farms as a district supervisor.

At Judy’s request, the service will be private.
