Kathleen R. Meintel

Kathleen R. Meintel, 62, Altoona, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday,January 8, 2019.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Leo and Betty (Bowers) Meintel.

Surviving are a sister, Marjorie Meintel of Williamsburg; a special aunt, Theresa Gallagher of Altoona; and several cousins: Judy (Bowers) Knox and husband, Denny, Jeff Bowers and wife, Lorie, Dave Patterson and wife, Patti, Tom Patterson and wife, Beverly, and Bill Patterson and wife, Vicky.

She attended Altoona Area High School and was a personal care assistant.

Kathy enjoyed animals, especially her three dogs. She will be remembered for her kind and loving heart.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at Altoona Bible Church, where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Stewart W. McClelland officiating. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg.
