Kathy S. Snyder

Kathy S. (Snyder) Snyder, 63, Hollidaysburg, died Friday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George and Thelma (Campbell) Snyder. She married Gary Snyder in 1973.

Surviving are her husband of 46 years; a daughter, Michelle L. Pearce and husband, Chuck, of New Enterprise; a son, Bryan of Hollidaysburg; six grandchildren; a sister, Ardyth "Sis" Burket of Hollidaysburg; and five brothers: Robert of Duncansville and Donald, Arthur, Gary and Larry, all of Hollidaysburg.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Gavin; and two brothers: Fred and Ronald.

She was a 1973 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area High School and was employed at Homewood as director of housekeeping and laundry services.

Kathy enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019, at Homewood at Martinsburg, Pastors Jerry McCuller and Jim Neatrour officiating.

Interment will be at Dry Hill Cemetery.
