Malenda J. (Merritts) Dively, 54, Altoona, died Friday at UPMC Altoona.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of Lee and Inez (Farrell) Merritts

Surviving are her parents of Altoona; and a sister, Colleen Eckman and husband, Darryl, of Hollidaysburg.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Christopher; and boyfriend, Timothy Shelton.

She was a member of the New Creation In Christ Ministry. She enjoyed playing her piano and keyboard, cooking and barbecuing, and loved to praise the Lord through song and music.

Friends will be received from 12:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Aug 22, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m.

Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park.
