Marjorie E. Stiffler, 91, Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She was born December 8, 1926, in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Ralph A. and Mary (Carn) Frank. She married Oakley R. Stiffler Jr. on June 14, 1947, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg, by Monsignor J.F. Cullinan. Oakley preceded her in death on July 11, 2007, after sharing 60 years of marriage.
Surviving are a son, Gregory A. of Hollidaysburg; five grandchildren: Craig, Heather, Gregory II, Travis and Sara Jane; 10 great-grandchildren: Craig, Bruce, Abigail, Charles, Ethan, Kaitlin, Natalie, Braylon Sophie and Josephine; a great-great-granddaughter, Padyn Elizabeth; and two brothers: John A. "Jack" Frank of Hollidaysburg and Allan J. Frank of York.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Elizabeth Reilly and Eleanor Zimmerman; three brothers: Carl, Ralph E. and Thomas Frank.
Marjorie was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, Class of 1945. She retired from the Great Atlantic A&P Co., Valley Forge, as a statistical manager, and she was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg.
Friends will be received from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a vigil service will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 12, 2018, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Monsignor Stanley B. Carson celebrant. Committal at Alto Reste Park.
