Marlene A. (Cummings) Berkey

Marlene A. Berkey, 84 of Duncansville, passed away, Wednesday June 21, 2017 at UPMC, Altoona.

She was born February 14, 1933 in Altoona, daughter of the late Joseph and Edith (Brumbaugh) Cummings.

Marlene married Francis C. Berkey who preceded her in death, May 2000 after having shared 45 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Beth A. Zetler and husband, Alan of Duncansville; two grandchildren:  Paul and Jenna; a sister, Shirley Stayer of Hollidaysburg and a brother, Robert in Arizona.

She was preceded in death by an infant grandson; three sisters:  Romayne, Marjorie and Dolores, and a brother, Patrick.

Marlene was a 1951 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.  Her grandchildren were the love of her life.

Private services were held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg by Father Allen P. Zeth.  Committal was made in New St. Mary Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
