Maron D. "Bud" Leamer

Maron D. “Bud” Leamer, 87, Hollidaysburg, died Thursday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Geeseytown, son of the late Lester and Clara J. (Kuhn) Leamer. He married Patty Fink in 1951.

Surviving are his wife of 67 years; a son, Robert and wife Lisa of Williamsburg; two grandchildren: Michael and Corey, both of Williamsburg; two great-grandchildren: Keegan and Gracie; and a sister, Helen Banks in North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Zachary in 2017; and a brother, Lester.

Bud graduated from Hollidaysburg High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years and retired as a carpenter.

He was a member of the Local 900 and the First Baptist Church, Hollidaysburg, where he served on multiple Boards.

Bud enjoyed collecting antique clocks and toys

Friends will be received from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 27, 2018. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park with Military Honors.
