Matthew C. Clingerman

Matthew C. Clingerman, 31, Hollidaysburg, died Monday as a result of an automobile accident.

He was born in Bedford, son of James F. and Teresa A. (Mobus) Clingerman.

Surviving are his wife, Rachel of Hollidaysburg; a daughter, Ava; two sons: Evan M. and Case M.; his parents of Hollidaysburg; his grandparents: John Mobus of Everett, and Charles and Mary Ann Clingerman of Bedford; two brothers: Steven of Altoona and Joshua of Hollidaysburg; many aunts and uncles; and his significant other, Melissa Wolfe of Hollidaysburg, and her two children, Adileena and Hayley Jayne.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Patricia Mobus in 2015.

Matthew graduated from Hollidaysburg Area High School. He was the owner of M & E Lawncare, where he took great pride in his work. He was a life member of Phoenix Volunteer Fire Department.

Matthew enjoyed deer hunting, NASCAR and being outdoors.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, at St. Mary’s Church Social Hall, Hollidaysburg.    

A firemen’s memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018, at Phoenix Volunteer Fire Company, Hollidaysburg.
