Matthew W. Smith, 30, New Enterprise, died as a result of drowning.

He was born in Bedford.

Surviving are his father, Greg A. Smith and stepmother, Maria, of New Enterprise; two brothers: Brad of Duncansville and Shawn of McKee; and Aunt Rose and Uncle Brian of Duncansville.

At the request of the family, there will be no public service. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
