Neil H. Miller Sr.

Neil H. Miller Sr., 70, of Altoona, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at his home.

He was born December 4, 1946 in Roaring Spring, son of Chester and Audrey (Haney) Miller.  Neil married Margaret L. McCloskey who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Teresa Kifer (Gary); a step-daughter, Leslie Hammel (Denny) all of Williamsburg; a son, Neil H. Jr. (Lucy) also of Williamsburg; a step-son, John Lykens of Martinsburg; four grandchildren and one step-grandson; five great-grandchildren; two brothers: Chester of James Creek; George (Debbie) of Altoona and a sister, Teresa Kauruter (David) of Huntingdon.

Neil was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark and a brother, Roy.

He enjoyed fishing and gardening.  Neil was employed by Stuckey Ford as a mechanic.

Friends will be received 2-4; 6-8 pm Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Sorge Funeral Home, Inc., Hollidaysburg.  A funeral service will be held 11am Friday, June 9th at the funeral home by Rev. Jaime G. Olson.  Interment in Sparr Cemetery, Williamsburg.
