Pauline R. Hammel, Williamsburg, died Thursday at her residence.
She was born in Clappertown, daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Mirdle) Banks. In 1966, she married Melvin C. Hammel, and he preceded her in death on December 20, 2018, after sharing 52 years of marriage.
Surviving are two daughters: Pamela Schwaderer and husband, Jeffrey, and Gloria Ginter and husband, Michael, all of Williamsburg; and four grandchildren: Brandi, Amber, Michael and Kourtney.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Jonathan.
Pauline worked in food service for 20 years at Sizzler in Williamsburg. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg.
She enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, gardening and playing computer games.
At the request of the family, there will be no service.
Interment will be at Oreminea Mines Cemetery, Williamsburg.
