Raymond Powell Obituary

Raymond S. Powell, 55, Lakemont, died Monday at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.

He was born in Spartanburg, S.C., son of son of Landrum Powell and the late Mary Heverly

Surviving are a son, Derek Spangler of Lakemont; his stepfather, Donald Heverly of Hollidaysburg; two sisters: Donna Metzger of Altoona and Sue Brumbaugh (Dwayne) of Williamsburg; and two brothers: Lewis of Altoona and Ricky in Virgina.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl, in 2019; and a nephew, Anthony, in 1994.

Raymond enjoyed spending time with his dog, Buddy.

At Ray's request, all services will be private. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
