Rita L. Yeckley

Rita L. Yeckley, 84, East Freedom, passed away Thursday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona.

She was the daughter of the late Edwin and Emma (Baughman) Yeckley. She married Harold G. Yeckley in 1960. He preceded her in death in 2016 after nearly 57 years of marriage.

Surviving are a son, Todd C. and wife, Tina, of East Freedom; and nine siblings: Shirley, Ethel, Ruby, Caroline, Bill, Dale, Paul, John and David.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles.

She was a member of the Scotch Valley Grange 510 and the Pennsylvania State Grange.

Rita enjoyed traveling and crafts.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 6 p.m., Pastor Jaime G. Olson officiating. Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
