Robert W. Fox, 76, Duncansville, passed away Thursday at his residence. He was born in Altoona, son of the late William and Eleanor (Kosharek) Fox. Surviving are two daughters: Renee Keith and husband, Joe, of Roaring Spring and Lisa Moyer and husband, Russ, of Altoona; two sons: Ron of Roaring Spring and Rick and fiancee, Tammy Weaver, of Alum Bank; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; two sisters: Janet Baker and husband, Dave and Diane Dillier and husband, Dan, all of Hollidaysburg; two brothers: Don in Florida and Dave of Hollidaysburg; and his significant other, Melody McCready. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry, in 2012. Robert was a Hollidaysburg High School graduate, Class of 1962. He served in the U.S. Army and retired as a truck driver from Wolf Furniture. He was a founding member of Blair County Antique Car Club and Robert was an active member of the HHS Class of 1962 Reunion Committee. Robert was a former local stock car driver, drag car driver, and he was a two-time demolition derby champion in Bedford County. He loved working on Henry J cars and was known locally as "Mr. Henry J." He also enjoyed hunting. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be held privately. Interment will be at Alto-Reste Park.
